Foreign Exchange and Currency. Adjustments.
We address you to inform you that this Institution has adopted the following resolution:
Establish as an additional condition to access the foreign exchange market, within the framework of what is provided in point 3.6 of the consolidated text on Foreign Exchange and Currency, to cancel principal maturities of debt securities issued by local financial entities through operations agreed upon from 26/05/25, that the payment takes place once at least 12 (twelve) months have elapsed from their date of issuance.
Establish that the settlement requirement provided for in item i) of point 3. of Communication A 8230 will also be considered fulfilled when the non-resident client has applied foreign currency directly from 23/05/25 to the primary subscription of debt securities issued by the National Treasury. Likewise, the requirement of item iii) of said point will be considered fulfilled when the National Treasury debt security subscribed in foreign currency has an average life of not less than 180 (one hundred eighty) calendar days.
Likewise, we inform you that we will subsequently send you the sheets that, in replacement of those previously provided, will correspond to incorporate into the reference standards.
