Circular CSSF 18/706 — Transparency requirements based on Article 12-6 (2) of the Law of 22 June 2018

Covered bond banks must publish specific cover pool and covered bond information on their internet websites on a quarterly basis. The required disclosures include nominal and net present values, overcollateralization percentages, geographic dispersion, rating details, currency breakdowns, maturity buckets, and compliance status with CRR and UCITS regulations. For mortgage-backed, public sector, moveable property, mutual, and renewable energy covered bonds, additional granular data regarding asset types, loan-to-value ratios, loan seasoning, and exposure tranches is mandated. These publications are due within one month for the first three quarters and within two months for the fourth quarter, with the circular entering into force six months after its publication on the CSSF website.
