Circular CSSF 20/747: Technical arrangements for the central electronic data retrieval system for IBAN accounts and safe-deposit boxes
Credit institutions and payment service providers in Luxembourg must establish and implement a central electronic data retrieval system by 10 September 2020 to make data files available to the CSSF. These files must contain information on payment accounts, bank accounts identified by IBAN, and safe-deposit boxes existing or closed since 26 March 2020, or opened or leased after that date. Professionals are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data, including optional fields if held in their systems, and must adhere to the technical modalities and file structure detailed in the circular's annexes.
