Circular for Credit Institutions on 2026 Resolution Reporting Submissions
The Malta Financial Services Authority updates resolution reporting templates under the EBA Reporting framework 4.2, discontinuing LDR, CFR, FMIR, and CIR templates for reference dates on or after 31 December 2025. Credit institutions must submit reports exclusively in xBRL-CSV format using RESOL1 (due 31 March) and RESOL2 (due 30 April) projects, adhering to specific file naming conventions and taxonomy versions. A test version of the LH Portal is available in February 2026 for technical readiness evaluation, requiring participation requests by 23 January 2026, while the 'Other Resolution Reporting' project remains unaffected for ad-hoc submissions.
