SUBJECT: New version of the Empresas.net program – Version 5.0

Dear Director of Investor Relations/Legal Representative,

This Circular Letter aims to inform public companies and foreign companies that, as of this date, a new version of the Empresas.Net System (version 5.0) will be available, which brings improvements to the module for filling out and sending the Reference Forms, Cadastral Form, DFP, and ITR.

Among the improvements present in the new version of the system are: (a) reformulation of general routines, aiming to reduce the system's response time; (b) adjustment in the routine for reusing ITR data to facilitate the completion of this form; (c) possibility of use by closed companies issuing financial letters; (d) inclusion of fields for providing the information foreseen in Annex 24 of CVM Instruction No. 480/09, as amended by CVM Instruction No. 509/11, regarding the members of the Statutory Audit Committee (CAE); and (e) adjustments for operation on equipment with 64-bit architecture.

Until 08/04/2012, documents generated by both version 4.0 and version 5.0 will be accepted. After this date, only documents sent via version 5.0 will be accepted.

The download of the new version of the System can be done via the CVM's electronic page on the World Wide Web (http://www.cvm.gov.br, section MARKET PARTICIPANTS, item DOCUMENT SUBMISSION, subitem EMPRESAS.NET), as well as on the BM&FBOVESPA page (http://www.bmfbovespa.com.br, section MARKET - SHARES, item COMPANIES, subitem FOR COMPANIES, subitem For Listed Cos, subitem EMPRESAS.NET System).

The Empresas.Net 5.0 program can only be installed on computers that follow the IBM (PC) standard and have Microsoft .Net Framework 4 or higher installed, and the Windows XP Service Pack 3 or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or higher or Windows 7 Service Pack 1 operating system in 32 or 64-bit architecture. A Pentium processor of 1ghz or equivalent, 1 GB of RAM memory, and 2 GB of free hard disk space are recommended.

Before installing version 5.0, a backup of the existing forms in the previous version of the system must be performed, especially those not yet delivered, using the “Export” function. After installing the new version, to recover the files, the “Import” function must be used.

It is not necessary to resubmit forms already delivered by the previous version solely due to this new version 5.0.

We remind you that the documents to be sent via the Empresas.Net System (Reference Forms, DFP, and ITR) must be linked to an updated version of the Cadastral Form. In this way, the computer used to send the forms must contain an updated version of the Cadastral Form, which can be obtained by downloading the last version sent, from the CVM or BM&FBOVESPA websites, or generated by the company.

In this context, we emphasize that for the submission of Reference Forms, DFP, and ITR in 2012, it will be necessary to link the document to a version of the Cadastral Form that has 2012 as the reference year.

Finally, we clarify that questions regarding the installation, use, and operation of the Empresas.Net program, as well as reports of problems or difficulties in sending documents, should be directed to the BM&FBOVESPA Service Center (CAB).
