SUBJECT: New version of the Empresas.net program – Version 4.0

Dear Director of Investor Relations/Legal Representative,

This Circular Letter serves to inform open companies and foreign companies that, as of this date, a new version of the Empresas.Net System (version 4.0) will be available, which brings improvements to the module for filling out and sending the Reference Forms, Cadastral Forms, DFP, and ITR.

The main changes concern the “New Form” item of the Empresas.Net System, as well as the tables of the Reference Form: 2.1/2 (“Identification and remuneration of auditors”), 9.1.c (“Participations in Companies”), 12.10 (“Subordination, service provision or control relationships”), 17.2 (“Increases in share capital”), 18.4 (“volume/coercion of securities”) and 19.2 (“Movement of securities held in treasury”).

We highlight that CIRCULAR LETTER/CVM/SEP/No. 007/2011, dated 05/10/2011, is being issued, replacing CIRCULAR LETTER/CVM/SEP/No. 005/2011, dated 03/31/2011, in which the existing guidance in items 1 and 2.4 of Section A and items 2.1, 2.2, 12.6 and 19.2 of Section B were altered.

Until 05/16/2011, documents generated by both version 3.0 and version 4.0 will still be accepted. From that date onwards, only documents sent via version 4.0 will be accepted, subject to the following provisions.

The download of the new version of the System can be done via the CVM’s electronic page on the worldwide web (http://www.cvm.gov.br, section MARKET PARTICIPANTS, item DOCUMENT SUBMISSION, subitem EMPRESAS.NET), as well as on that of BM&FBOVESPA (http://www.bmfbovespa.com.br, section SHARES, item COMPANIES, subitem FOR COMPANIES, subitem For Listed Cos, subitem EMPRESAS.NET).

Before installing version 4.0, a backup of the existing forms in the previous version of the system must be performed, especially those not yet delivered, using the “Export” function. After installing the new version, the “Import” function must be used to recover the files.

It is not necessary to resubmit forms already delivered by the previous version solely due to this new version 4.0.

Finally, we clarify that questions regarding the installation, use, and operation of the Empresas.Net program can be clarified with the BM&FBOVESPA Service Center (CAB) by phone (11) 2565-5000 or email address: cab@bvmf.com.br.

Questions regarding the content of the Reference Form should be directed, after consulting CIRCULAR LETTER/CVM/SEP/No. 007/2011, dated 03/31/2011, to the Superintendence of Corporate Relations (SEP) via the email address: sep-consultas@cvm.gov.br.
