Subject: Extension of Deadline for Submission of Monthly Information for Investment Funds – February 2014 Position

Dear Sirs/Madams,

As provided for in Article 71, II, of CVM Instruction No. 409/04, investment fund administrators must submit, through the Document Submission System available on this CVM's website on the World Wide Web, monthly, up to 10 (ten) days after the end of the month to which they refer, the following documents:

a. Balance sheet; b. Statement of Portfolio Composition and Diversification;
c. Monthly Profile; and
d. Fund brochure.

However, given that (i) the deadline for submitting documents related to the month of February of the current year expires on 3/10/2014 – the first Monday after Carnival – such that the number of business days to prepare and send the documents would be reduced; and (ii) it is common for work teams to be reduced on Ash Wednesdays, the Collegiate Board of this Commission, in a meeting held on 2/18/2014, exceptionally extended the final deadline for submitting the documents in question, referring to the month of February 2014, to March 14, 2014.

Finally, we inform you that the full text of the decision in question will be made available for public consultation on this CVM's electronic page in due course.
