Rule · CVM · 22 Feb 2019
The CVM extends the submission deadlines for monthly investment fund documents for February 2019. The deadline for documents originally due on March 11 is extended to March 15, and the deadline for documents originally due on March 15 is extended to March 22. This extension applies due to the reduced number of business days caused by overlapping weekends and the Carnival holiday. The full decision will be made available for public consultation on the CVM website.
CIRCULAR LETTER/CVM/SIN/NO. 1/2019
Rio de Janeiro, February 22, 2019
Subject: Extension of deadline for sending monthly documents for February 2019 of investment funds
Dear Sirs,
As provided in article 59, item II, of CVM Instruction No. 555, investment fund administrator institutions must send, through the Document Submission System available on this CVM's page on the worldwide web, monthly, by March 11, the following documents referring to the month of February 2019:
a. Trial balance; b. Statement of Composition and Diversification of Portfolio; and
c. Monthly Profile, and
d. Fact Sheet
On the other hand, article 45 of CVM Instruction 356, for investment funds in credit rights; as well as article 39 of CVM Instruction 472, for real estate investment funds, provide for a deadline for submission of their respective monthly documents for February to March 15, 2019.
In this regard, given that, due to the coincidence of two weekends and the Carnival holiday at the beginning of March, the number of business days to prepare and send the documents would be exceptionally quite reduced, the Board of this Commission, in a meeting held on 2/19/2019, extended the final deadline for submission of the documents in question, referring to the month of February 2019, to March 15, 2019, in the case of documents due on March 11, 2019; and March 22, 2019, for documents due on March 15, 2019.
Finally, we inform you that the full text of the decision in question will be made available for public consultation on the electronic page of this CVM in due course.
Sincerely,
Signed original by
DANIEL WALTER MAEDA BERNARDO
Superintendent of Institutional Investor Relations
