CIRCULAR LETTER/CVM/SIN/No. 002/2005.

Subject: Informs that the XML file standard for the "Fund Information Statement" document is available for consultation on the CVM's Internet page and establishes a deadline for the submission of this document.

Dear Sir,

As a complement to CIRCULAR LETTER/CVM/SIN/No. 001/2005, of January 11, 2005, we inform you that as of today, the XML file standard for the "Fund Information Statement" document is available for consultation on the CVM's Internet page.

2. Therefore, both new investment funds already registered under the rules of CVM Instruction No. 409, as well as funds in operation that complete the adaptation process and whose regulations are in force by March 1, 2005, must submit the first "Fund Information Statement" by March 16, 2005.

3. For funds in operation and in the adaptation process, whose adapted regulations under the rules of CVM Instruction No. 409 take effect after March 1, 2005, and for new funds registered from that date onwards, the administrator will have a period of 15 days, counted from the date of entry into force of the new regulation, to submit the "Fund Information Statement", both via form and via the standard XML file.
