Subject: Extension of Deadline for Submission of Information and Periodic Documents of Investment Funds

Dear Sir/Madam,

As provided for in Article 71, II, of CVM Instruction No. 409/04, investment fund administering institutions must submit, through the Document Submission System available on this CVM’s page on the worldwide computer network (“CVMWEB”), by 7/10/2014, the following monthly documents, referring to the period of June 2014:
a. Trial Balance; b. Statement of Portfolio Composition and Diversification;
c. Monthly Profile; and
d. Fund Fact Sheet.

Also under the terms of Article 71, III, of the same CVM Instruction No. 409/04, investment fund administering institutions whose fiscal year ends on 3/31/2014 must also submit, via CVMWEB and by 6/30/2014, the accounting statements accompanied by the independent auditor’s report.

Furthermore, in accordance with the requirement of Article 32, III, of CVM Instruction No. 391/03, investment fund administering institutions in Participations whose fiscal year ends on 2/28/2014 must submit, via CVMWEB, and similarly by 6/30/2014, the accounting statements of the fiscal year, accompanied by the independent auditor’s report.

However, all the highlighted deadlines for document submission occur during the period in which the 2014 FIFA World Cup event is taking place; and during which, also, new supervening events have occurred, such as the declaration of holidays due to the games, which impacts the operational routine of institutions and makes compliance with these deadlines difficult.

Thus, we inform you that the Collegiate Body of this Commission, in a meeting held on 6/27/2014, decided to exceptionally extend the final deadline for delivery of the mentioned documents to 7/7/2014, for those whose deadline expires on 6/30/2014; and 7/15/2014, for the other documents whose due date is scheduled for 7/10/2014.

Finally, we inform you that the full text of this decision will be made available for public consultation on this CVM’s electronic page in due course.
