Circular Letter – Legal Notice No. 157 of 2019 – The Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2019
The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago issued this circular to inform regulated entities of the Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2019, specifically the revised Form 28 and new Forms 36 through 46. These forms mandate statutory filings regarding share warrants, bearer shares, and beneficial ownership declarations for companies incorporated or operating in Trinidad and Tobago. Licensees under the Financial Institutions Act, insurance entities, and other designated institutions are required to ensure their relevant personnel are aware of these filing obligations.
