The Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2019
The Minister of Legal Affairs for Trinidad and Tobago issued these Regulations to amend the Companies Regulations. Specifically, Schedule 1 is updated by inserting new items 10 and 11 into Form 28, which now require companies to provide particulars of surrendered or cancelled share warrants and details of share holders and beneficial owners as of the annual return date. The Regulations also delete and replace existing instructions in Form 28, renumber an item, and introduce new forms after Form 35. These changes affect companies required to file annual returns under the Companies Act.
