Rule · BCB · 9 Dec 1993 · Carta Circular 2422
Financial institutions in non-integrated normal access offices must redirect "CD - Return Communication" to São Paulo during local holidays, extending physical delivery deadlines by up to two business days. They must issue "CR - Remittance Communication" within four business days, with returns restricted to daytime sessions and physical delivery to night sessions. Improper returns allow financial adjustment, while improper challenges permit check return and remuneration. Shorter deadlines prevail in multi-SIRC offices, and difficult access checks face a twenty-business-day blocking period. These procedures apply from publication.
