CIRCULAR LETTER No. 002825 ------------------------ Amends the limit amount of checks exchanged in the specific sessions of the Check and Other Paper Clearing Service (SCCOP). Having regard to the provisions contained in article 2 of Circular No. 2.644, of 29.11.95, we inform that: I - the limit amount of checks exchanged in the specific sessions of the Check and Other Paper Clearing Service is amended to R! 299,99 (two hundred and ninety-nine reais and ninety-nine centavos), which shall take effect as of the night exchange session of 07.12.98; II - the ranges contained in transaction PESP550 of the Central Bank Information System (SISBACEN), as of the base date of 07.12.98, shall comprise the following amounts in R!: a) range 1: from 0,01 to 59,99; b) range 2: from 60,00 to 89,99; c) range 3: from 90,00 to 129,99; d) range 4: from 130,00 to 139,99; e) range 5: from 140,00 to 209,99; f) range 6: from 210,00 to 299,99; g) range 7: from 300,00 to 379,99; h) range 8: from 380,00 to 499,99; i) range 9: from 500,00 to 599,99; j) range 10: from 600,00. 2.
