Circular Letter No. 3889 — Amends the Layout and Filling Instructions for Document 3040 - Credit Risk Data

The Head of the Department of Financial System Monitoring (Desig), using the authority granted by Article 23, item I, clause "a", of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287, of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III, of the aforementioned Regulations, and considering the provisions of Circular No. 3,870, of December 19, 2017, and Circular Letter No. 3,869, of March 19, 2018,

RESOLVES:

Art. 1. The new versions of the Layout and Filling Instructions for document 3040 - Credit Risk Data, available on the Central Bank of Brazil's website at the electronic address http://www.bcb.gov.br/?DOC3040, shall come into force, incorporating the following modifications:

I - from the reference date of July 2018:

a. in Annex 12 - "Guarantees", domain 08 - "Insurance and similar" - inclusion of subdomain 90, with the description "FGI – Investment Guarantee Fund";

b. in Annex 26 - "Additional Information" - inclusion of domain 21, with the description "Loan between individuals" and its subdomain 01, with the description "Identification of creditors";

II - from the reference date of May 2019:

a. inclusion of domain 20, with the description "Complementary information on rural credit" and its subdomains:

1. subdomain 01 - with the description "Total balance";

2. subdomain 02 - with the description "Outstanding balance".

Art. 2. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
