Circular Letter No. 4061 — Amends the Maximum Percentage of Custodian Institution Remuneration
The Head of the Circulating Media Department (Mecir) of the Central Bank of Brazil issues Circular Letter No. 4061 to amend the maximum remuneration percentage for custodian institutions. The regulation sets the maximum fee at 0.44% on confirmed withdrawal requests and on deposit and cash exchange requests executed within the authorized custodian network. This circular revokes Circular Letter No. 3,997 and becomes effective upon publication, with effects retroactive to July 6, 2020.
