Institutions authorized under Articles 7 and 8 of the cited Regulation must observe new repo limits backed by private securities effective upon publication. Article 7 institutions may operate up to 30 times the calculation base, with specific caps of 2x for any securities and 15-30x for Treasury, National Treasury, and Central Bank Notes. Article 8 institutions are limited to 15 times the base, capped at 2x for any securities and 2-15x for Treasury, National Treasury, and Central Bank Notes.
