Amends item III of art. 3 of Circular No. 2,500 of 26.10.94.

The Board of the Banco Central do Brasil, in a session held on 19.12.94, based on art. 7 of Resolution No. 2,099 of 17.08.94,

D E C I D E D:

Art. 1 To amend item III of art. 3 of Circular No. 2,500 of 26.10.94, which shall henceforth have the following wording:

"Art. 3 ......
......

III - the option to adopt the calculation method mentioned in this article must be communicated to the Banco Central do Brasil/Departamento de Cadastro e Informações (DECAD) by the last business day of the fiscal year to which it refers."

Art. 2 This Circular enters into force on the date of its publication.
