Circular No. 2630 — Authorizes financial institutions to create special public service structures and clarifies the scope of Circular No. 1230 of 22.09.87

Financial institutions may provide banking services through special service structures installed in an area contiguous to an operating branch, with records incorporated into that branch's accounting. The collection and delivery of cash at home under Circular No. 1230 of 22.09.87 is clarified to include collection of checks and other clearing documents. These services are not subject to the public service hours set by Resolutions Nos. 1457 of 27.01.88 and 1484 of 25.05.88. Implementation must be reported to the Central Bank Regional Office with jurisdiction over the institution's headquarters via SISBACEN, as defined by DECAD.
