Circular no. 31 of 2025 – Life Insurance Policy Finder Service
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan mandates all registered life insurers and family takaful operators to participate in the Life Insurance Policy Finder Service maintained by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan. Insurers must integrate with the service via the Centralized Insurance Repository or API, submit policy data timely, and adhere to defined turnaround times for query resolution. Additionally, participating entities are required to prominently display service details and promote the tool through their official websites and social media platforms. The directive becomes effective within thirty days of issuance.
