The Central Bank of Libya mandates specific documentation requirements for banks when reporting entities that fail to submit customs declarations within the required timeframe or when requesting to resume business with such suspended entities. For initial reports of non-compliance, banks must provide detailed company identification, commercial register details, and remittance specifics. For appeals to lift suspension, banks must additionally verify the validity of the customs declaration and submit the original sealed declaration alongside the standard documentation. Banks are further required to implement an internal system to document these failures for future reference when processing new credits or remittances.
