Circular on the Collection of the Annual Fee from Insurance Service Providers

Dear Insurance Service Providers, Subject: Circular on the Collection of the Annual Fee from Insurance Service Providers

Based on the provisions of Articles (13) and (14) of the Insurance Activities Fees Law No. (18) of 2022, I hereby decide the following:

1. Insurance service providers must pay the annual fee due to the Central Bank into the Central Bank accounts (Appendix 1) when submitting a license renewal application.

2. Insurance service providers must notify the Central Bank after each deposit made regarding the annual fee.

3. If a license application is submitted during the calendar year, the annual fee for the full year must be collected in addition to the license application and issuance fees, and the applicant is obliged to pay the annual fees before the issuance of the final approval for the license.

4. If a re-registration application is submitted during the calendar year, the annual fee for the full year must be collected, and the applicant is obliged to pay the annual fees upon submitting the re-registration application.

5. The provisions of this circular shall apply from April 3, 2022.
