Circular on the Publication of Updates to the Frequently Asked Questions on the Notified PIF Framework
The Malta Financial Services Authority issues an updated version of the Notified Professional Investor Fund Frequently Asked Questions document to align with amendments to the Notified PIF Rulebook. The revisions reflect regulatory developments regarding Single Family Offices, Collective Investment Schemes structured as Limited Partnerships without Separate Legal Personality, and self-managed structures. Section 1 and Section 2 of the FAQ document have been revised, and a new Section 3 titled ‘Family Office Vehicles’ has been added to address questions concerning the application of the framework to Single Family Offices.
