safeguarding

The circular replaces point 2 of the rules on the application of the deposit guarantee insurance with a new normal contribution requirement: financial entities must contribute each month an amount equal to 0.06 % of the average daily balances of the items listed in point 5.1, based on the second immediate prior month, following the provisions of Decree 540/95 article 6 (second paragraph) as amended by Decree 1292/96 article 3.
