Circular to Credit Institutions on the Reporting of MREL and TLAC Data
The Malta Financial Services Authority requires institutions notified bilaterally to submit Minimum Requirement for Own Funds and Eligible Liabilities and Total Loss Absorbing Capacity data via the LH Portal. The first reporting reference date is 30 June 2021, with a submission deadline of 30 September 2021. Data must be uploaded in XBRL format using the new MRELTLAC reporting project, allowing concurrent access by the National Competent Authority and National Resolution Authority.
