Clarification on Investment by a Collective Investment Scheme in Securities into a Collective Investment Scheme in Hedge Funds

Managers and trustees of collective investment schemes must ensure that portfolios of collective investment schemes in securities do not invest in hedge fund collective investment schemes, whether retail or qualified investor. This prohibition applies because participatory interests in hedge fund portfolios are not defined as securities under BN 90.
