2025-11-28 | Resolução CMN 5265Added
This resolution amends Resolution CMN No. 5057 to mandate that credit portability information exchanges occur exclusively via electronic systems managed by Central Bank of Brazil-authorized entities or through the Open Finance infrastructure. It requires the original creditor to request resource transfers within five business days for system-managed exchanges and three business days for Open Finance exchanges. Additionally, institutions are prohibited from processing portability requests for the same credit contract if a request is already pending in either channel.
