Columbus Bank and Trust Company Notice of Surrender of Trust Charter and Claims Deadline
The Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance issued this notice to formalize the surrender of Columbus Bank and Trust Company's trust charter and establish a claims filing deadline. All creditors must submit written absolute or contingent claims to Director Kelly Lammers no later than June 23, 2026. Following confirmation that the bank has been legally discharged from all fiduciary duties, the Department will authorize the release of its pledged securities.
