Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1159 on public disclosure of investment policy by investment firms

Investment firms must disclose their investment policy, including the proportion of voting rights held, voting behavior, use of proxy advisors, and voting guidelines, using standardized templates and tables. Disclosures must meet principles of clarity, consistency, and internal verification, with quantitative data expressed to a minimum precision of two decimal places. The regulation specifies a 5% threshold for disclosing voting rights in companies admitted to trading on a regulated market and requires the use of specific templates such as IF IP1 through IF IP4. This Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
