Disclosure of Proxy Voting Policies and Proxy Voting Records by Registered Management Investment Companies

Registered management investment companies must disclose their policies and procedures for voting proxies relating to portfolio securities in registration statements and annual reports. These entities are required to file Form N-PX with the Commission and make specific proxy voting records available to shareholders, either via website or upon request. The rule amendments, including new Form N-PX and rule 30b1-4, became effective on April 14, 2003.
