Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1282 amending and correcting Annexes IV and V to Regulation (EU) 2019/1242
This Regulation amends Annexes IV and V to Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 to update the data to be monitored, reported, and published for new heavy-duty vehicles. It requires Member States to report the name and world manufacturer identifier (WMI) for category M vehicles, and mandates manufacturers to report additional parameters including component manufacturers, CO2 emissions, fuel consumption, and specific characteristics for category O vehicles. The text also introduces new reporting obligations for designated technical services regarding category O3 and O4 vehicles and corrects substantive errors in Annexes IV and V. The Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
