Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1971 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2070

The European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1971 on 13 September 2021 to amend Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2070. This amendment establishes implementing technical standards for templates, definitions, and IT solutions that institutions must use when reporting to the European Banking Authority and competent authorities. The requirements apply to institutions subject to Article 78(2) of Directive 2013/36/EU.
