Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1929 amending STS notification templates for on-balance-sheet synthetic securitisations
The European Commission amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1227 to establish specific notification templates for simple, transparent, and standardised (STS) on-balance-sheet synthetic securitisations. This regulation introduces Annex IV, which defines the field formats and data types required for electronic submissions to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). It also updates existing templates in Annexes I to III to ensure consistency across all STS notification requirements. The regulation entered into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
