The European Commission adopts Regulation (EU) 2025/1157 to establish standard forms, templates, and procedures for the authorisation of approved publication arrangements (APAs), approved reporting mechanisms (ARMs), and consolidated tape providers (CTPs). This regulation repeals Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1110 and introduces distinct application processes reflecting the separate authorisation procedures for APAs/ARMs and CTPs under Regulation (EU) No 600/2014. It mandates that ESMA and national competent authorities designate public contact points and specifies submission requirements, including a 10-working-day acknowledgement of receipt and a 5-working-day deadline for communicating authorisation decisions. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
