Competition Act 2 of 2003

The Act establishes the Namibian Competition Commission as an independent juristic person with jurisdiction throughout Namibia to administer and enforce competition law. It prohibits restrictive agreements, decisions, and concerted practices that prevent or substantially lessen competition, including price-fixing, market allocation, and collusive tendering, unless exempted. The legislation also regulates mergers, defines the Commission's investigative powers, and outlines offences and penalties for non-compliance.
