De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) decides on applications for clearing institution authorisation within 13 weeks, provided the application is complete and of sufficient quality. If an application is incomplete, DNB grants an extra period for supplementation, during which the consideration period is suspended until the requested information is received. Failure to provide sufficient supplementary information within the specified timeframe may result in DNB deciding not to consider the application.
