CP20/5: Consultation paper on ETF Listing: Premium to Standard Listing

The Financial Conduct Authority proposes to dis-apply or amend existing premium listing requirements for open-ended investment companies (OEICs) to align them with the standard listing regime. The proposals include removing obligations for operational control, related party transaction approvals, further share issuance governance, and prior shareholder approval for corporate actions. Existing ETF securities currently listed under the Chapter 16 regime would automatically become standard listed under new LR 16A upon introduction of the amended rules.
