CSA Notice of Publication: Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933 Exemptions to Permit Semi-Annual Reporting for Certain Venture Issuers
The Canadian Securities Administrators have launched a voluntary pilot project allowing eligible venture issuers on the TSX Venture Exchange and CSE to file semi-annual instead of quarterly financial reports. To participate, issuers must have annual revenues of no more than $10 million, maintain a 12-month continuous disclosure record, and have no outstanding late filings. The CSA intends to use data from this pilot to inform a future broader rule-making project while monitoring stakeholder concerns regarding information asymmetry and investor protection.
