The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier issued Regulation No 21-05 to maintain Luxembourg's countercyclical buffer rate at 0.50% for the first quarter of 2022. This decision follows the Systemic Risk Committee's recommendation and reflects that while the credit-to-GDP gap remains below the activation threshold, credit growth to households still poses potential systemic risks. The regulation entered into force upon its publication in the Official Journal of Luxembourg.
