CVM CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 01/2016

Subject: Extension of Deadline for Submission of Monthly Documents for Investment Funds – January 2016 Position

Dear Sirs and Madams,

As provided for in Article 71, item II, of CVM Instruction No. 409/04, investment fund administrator institutions must submit the following documents monthly, through the Document Submission System available on the CVM website on the world wide web, within 10 (ten) days after the end of the month to which they refer:

a. Trial balance; b. Statement of Composition and Diversification of Portfolio; and
c. Monthly Profile, and
d. Fact Sheet

In this regard, given that (i) the deadline for submitting documents related to the month of January of the current year expires on 10/2/2016, which is Ash Wednesday; (ii) the number of business days to prepare and submit the documents would be reduced; and (iii) it is common for work teams to be reduced on Ash Wednesdays, the Board of this Commission, in a meeting held on 27/01/2016, exceptionally extended the final deadline for submitting the documents in question, referring to the month of January 2016, to February 15, 2016.

Finally, we inform you that the full text of the decision in question will be made available for public consultation on the CVM website in due course.
