Rule · CVM · 27 Jan 2006
Incentivized companies must register with the CVM; failure to do so within ten years triggers automatic exclusion. Suspension occurs if a company remains in arrears with CVM information obligations for over twelve months, communicated via registered mail and website disclosure. Cancellation follows if registration is suspended for more than twelve months, requiring deregistration from the CNPJ. Administrators face penalties under Law no. 6,385 for non-compliance. Appeals against suspension or cancellation may be filed with the CVM Board.
