Rule · CVM · 29 Sep 2000
Open companies adhering to the Fiscal Recovery Program (REFIS) must account for tax credit effects in the quarter of formalization, recording unrecognized credits and debt adjustments as extraordinary items. They may record consolidated debt at present value if the Board approves projections, auditors review them, and the company demonstrates operational capacity, with adjustments deferred as revenue. These entities must disclose debt details, guarantees, and risks in quarterly reports and Form ITR, while reviewing projections annually.
