CySEC Circular C663: Requirements of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority regarding referral and affiliate programmes
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission issued Circular C663 to alert Cyprus Investment Firms to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority's October 2023 position on referral and affiliate programmes. The Polish regulator prohibits unregulated intermediaries and clients from individually acquiring clients or providing information about investment services, reserving these activities exclusively for the investment firm or its tied agents. CySEC urges all firms to take appropriate measures to ensure strict adherence to these regulatory requirements when operating in Poland.
