Guidelines on Credit Rating Agencies
The Securities Commission Malaysia issues these guidelines to regulate credit rating agencies (CRAs) operating in the corporate bonds and sukuk markets under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007. The document mandates strict registration requirements, including minimum capital, fit and proper criteria for key personnel, and the establishment of independent board committees and rating structures.
