Decision No. 1423/QD-BTC on the Publication of Six New Administrative Procedures for Derivative Securities Market Services

Decision No. 1423/QD-BTC dated June 24, 2016, announcing 06 new administrative procedures regarding the provision of services on the Vietnamese derivative securities market

On June 24, 2016, the Minister of the Ministry of Finance promulgated Decision No. 1423/QD-BTC announcing 06 (six) new administrative procedures regarding the provision of services on the Vietnamese derivative securities market, which fall within the state management functions of the Ministry of Finance, including the following procedures:

• Issuance of Securities Derivatives Business Eligibility Certificate;

• Issuance of Certificate of Eligibility to Provide Clearing and Settlement Services for Securities Derivatives Transactions;

• Request for approval of voluntary termination of securities derivatives business operations;

• Request for approval of voluntary termination of clearing and settlement services for securities derivatives transactions;

• Revocation of Securities Derivatives Business Eligibility Certificate after reporting the results of implementing the procedure for terminating securities derivatives business operations;

• Revocation of Certificate of Eligibility to Provide Clearing and Settlement Services for Securities Derivatives Transactions after reporting the results of implementing the procedure for terminating clearing and settlement services for securities derivatives transactions.

The Decision takes effect from July 01, 2016.
