Decision No 19/2016 on the setting of systemic risk buffer rates
Národná banka Slovenska issued Decision No 19/2016 to establish systemic risk buffer rates for four major Slovak banks. The regulation mandates a 1% buffer for all listed institutions in 2017, while increasing requirements to between 1% and 2% for most banks starting in 2018. These buffers apply to all exposures located in the Slovak Republic on both an individual and sub-consolidated basis.
