Decision of the Board of Directors of the Authority No. (71) of 2009

The General Authority for Financial Supervision issued Decision No. (71) of 2009 to formally recognize and accept credit rating reports from seven specified international agencies for corporate bonds, securitization bonds, and financing certificates. The decision mandates that relevant internal departments and sectors of the Authority implement these provisions according to their respective jurisdictions. It takes effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette, thereby standardizing the acceptance of external credit ratings for capital market issuances.
