Having reviewed the Capital Market Law issued by Law No. (95) of 1992 and its executive regulations; and the Central Depository and Registration of Securities Law issued by Law No. (93) of 2000 and its executive regulations; and Law No. (10) of 2009 regulating supervision over non-banking financial markets and instruments; and Presidential Decree No. (192) of 2009 issuing the Basic Statute of the Financial Regulatory Authority; and Decision of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Authority No. (29) of 2004 regarding the regulation of the operations of the Settlement Guarantee Fund; and upon the approval of the Authority's Board of Directors in its session held on 2020/3/2.

Has Decided

(Article One)

Clause (1) of Article (5) of Decision of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Authority No. (29) of 2004 regarding the regulation of the operations of the Settlement Guarantee Fund is amended to state that the Capital Market Authority shall not be activated in the Fund's Management Committee.

(Article Two)

This Decision shall be published on the websites of the Authority, the Egyptian Exchange, and the Central Depository and Registration of Securities Company, and shall take effect from the date of its issuance.
