Decision of the European Systemic Risk Board of 25 March 2011 adopting the Code of Conduct of the European Systemic Risk Board

The General Board of the European Systemic Risk Board adopts the Code of Conduct for its General Board, Steering Committee, and advisory committees. Members must act independently and impartially, avoiding conflicts of interest, and are prohibited from using non-public information for private financial transactions or accepting benefits exceeding customary amounts. The code mandates confidentiality, requires clear distinction between personal and official statements, and remains binding on members after their mandates terminate.
