Decision of the European Systemic Risk Board of 31 March 2017 amending Decision ESRB/2011/1 adopting the Rules of Procedure of the European Systemic Risk Board

The European Systemic Risk Board amends its Rules of Procedure to integrate representatives from Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein into the General Board and Advisory Technical Committee without voting rights. The amendments establish confidentiality protocols requiring these EFTA representatives to withdraw from discussions concerning individual Union financial institutions or Member States. Additionally, the rules are updated to clarify agenda submission timelines, introduce anonymous requests for restricted discussions, and mandate sequential numbering and secure custody of all ESRB legal instruments. This Decision enters into force on 1 April 2017.
